Courtney (Neltner) Kleier ’17, Alumni Director
Thomas More University is pleased to announce the addition of alum Courtney (Neltner) Kleier ’17 to the Institutional Advancement team as director of alumni engagement. Courtney begins her duties with the University on Sept. 15, 2022. Vice President of Institutional Advancement Kevin Reynolds, Ed.D., could not be more pleased with this development and had this to say about the news, “We are thrilled to have Courtney back on campus. She has done amazing work in the community as an alumna and we know she will be a great addition to our team, leading strategies to engage the more than 16,000 alumni from Villa Madonna College, Thomas More College, and (now) Thomas More University.”
Kleier served in Institutional Advancement as a summer intern after earning undergraduate degrees in English, history, international studies, and Spanish from Thomas More in 2017. She went on to graduate among the top of her class from the University of Kentucky’s Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce in the winter of 2018. She returned to northern Kentucky in 2019 and was an integral part of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, covering government relations and public policy as a member of the public affairs team. With these additional skills and experience, Courtney will be a standout in the role of alumni engagement. Brian Ruschman ’00, president of C-Forward, who serves as president of the Thomas More Alumni Association Board, looks forward to working with such an accomplished alumna, “I am very excited about the selection of Courtney Kleier as the next director of alumni engagement. Our Board has set ambitious goals for increasing alumni engagement and we think that Courtney will be an excellent leader in these efforts. Courtney had a phenomenal impact in her work for the Northern Kentucky Chamber and I have no doubt that she will bring similar vivacity to this new role.”
Please join us in welcoming Courtney back to Thomas More as a valuable member of the Institutional Advancement team. When she’s not busy engaging with Thomas More alumni, Courtney enjoys reading and exploring with her Saints Sweetheart husband Paul Kleier III ’16, daughter, and basset hound.
