Thirty students from Thomas More University recently attended “SEEK26” – a national conference organized by FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students).

This year, Thomas More students journeyed to Columbus, OH, alongside thousands of their peers, to “encounter Christ through prayer, Adoration, the sacraments,” and to hear from a lineup of inspiring speakers.

Popular sessions included Fr. Mike Schmitz, a Roman Catholic priest widely known for his podcast “The Bible in a Year,” as well as Matt Fradd, host of the “Pints with Aquinas” podcast, among others.  

The theme of the conference was “To the heights!” — a mantra of the recently canonized St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, who has become a global patron for youth and young adults. In addition to the conference events in Columbus, simultaneous conferences were also organized in Colorado and Texas.
