High School and Transfer Students Invited to Learn About Admissions, Financial Aid and Student Life at Thomas More College
High school students preparing for or in the midst of their college searches can learn more about the admissions process at Thomas More College’s Preview Day Saturday, November 10, 2012 at TMC’s Administration Building. The event kicks off with check-in at 9 a.m., followed by a departmental browsing fair with academic and student services representatives. Presentations by admissions, financial aid and student life staff will follow. A campus tour including stops at residence halls, classrooms and the gym will also be offered.
A free meal and admission to the Saints football game is included (kick-off is at 1 p.m.).
Preview Day is open to students and families at any stage of the college search process, including students interested in learning about the transfer process. Information sessions will address various topics, including when to take the ACT/SAT, the importance of the individual campus visit, securing institutional and external financial aid and the value of getting involved on college campuses. Thomas More College faculty members from each department, as well as representatives from athletics, campus ministry, student life, financial aid and admissions will be available to speak one-on-one with guests. Information about potential internships and co-cops offered through the College will also be offered.
