2024-25:

The Saints continued their success in the 2024-25 academic year. As Thomas More took on its third year of provisional membership in the NCAA Division II, the Saints continued to achieve success on the field of competition and in the classroom.

• In 2025, Saints student-athletes earned a record-high spring semester GPA of 3.26.
  • 22 programs earned a cumulative GPA above 3.00.
  • 442 student-athletes earned Athletic Director’s List honors (3.0 or higher), and 281 student-athletes earned President’s List honors (3.5 or higher).
• Thomas More earned two G-MAC titles:
  • Men’s bowling earned the first team championship for Thomas More.
  • Wrestling’s Cole Thomas won the conference title for the 157lb weight class.
• Five programs earned spots in their respective G-MAC tournaments.
  • Reaching quarterfinals: women’s lacrosse, women’s tennis, and women’s basketball
  • Reaching semifinals: men’s soccer
  • Conference championship: men’s basketball (second year in a row)
• Student-Athlete Awards:
  • 20 were named All-Conference.38 were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.180 were named G-MAC Academic All-Conference.Saints were named G-MAC Athlete of the Week 21 times.G-MAC Freshman of the Year was awarded to three Saints: Kai Simpson (men’s basketball), Alexei Hunt (men’s bowling), Hallie Holtzman (women’s bowling)Two Saints won the prestigious Elite 26 award, having the highest cumulative GPA from a conference championship-qualifying program: Luke Iden (football) and CJ Herbers (men’s bowling).CJ Herbers also won G-MAC Co-Bowler of the Year.Three earned All-Midwest Region Second Team honors.
  • Two Saints (both from rugby) earned All-American honors.
  • 10 wrestlers qualified for the NCWA Nationals.

 2023-24:

In the 2023-24 academic year, the Saints began competing in the G-MAC with provisional NCAA Division II membership and were eligible to compete for conference championships and tournaments.

• First GMAC title:
  • Daulton Mayer (wrestling) won the G-MAC championship in the 185lb weight class.
• Five programs earned spots in their respective G-MAC tournaments:
  • Women’s and men’s soccer, women’s and men’s basketball, and women’s lacrosse
  • Men’s basketball earned a runner-up finish at the conference tournament.
• Student-Athlete Awards:
  • 25 student-athletes were named All-Conference.38 student-athletes were named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.180 were named G-MAC Academic All-Conference.Allison McDonald (women’s bowling) earned the prestigious G-MAC Elite 26 Award.Maycie Merritt (women’s bowling) was named co-bowler of the year.
  • Five Saints were named G-MAC Freshmen of the Year.
  • 10 wrestlers qualified for the NCWA championship, with Cole Thomas and Ryan Moore bringing home the titles, and six earned All-American honors.
