President Joseph L. Chillo Connects with Thomas More Alumni During Summer Road Trip Series
Joseph L. Chillo, LP.D., the 15th president of Thomas More University, is hitting the road this summer to meet with Thomas More alumni who live outside of the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. The Summer Road Trip kicked off May 17 with a stop in Columbus, Ohio as Chillo offers alumni, their families, and friends of the University an opportunity to reconnect and strengthen their networks, as they hear about the exciting updates happening on campus from the president and other University staff.
“There’s so much to be proud of as a Thomas More alum,” says Courtney Kleier ’17, director of alumni engagement for Thomas More University. “Campus has expanded, with a new academic building opening soon, new undergraduate degree programs are being offered, and mission-focused centers are bolstering student success and academic excellence. We’re excited to host these events this summer as we share our Thomas More pride with new and old friends alike.”
There are four additional stops throughout the summer months. Dates and locations are:
- July 11, 2024: Indianapolis, IN
- July 28, 2024: Washington, D.C.
- August 8, 2024: Lexington, KY
- August 9, 2024: Louisville, KY
“While our traditional students typically head home for the summer, we’re not slowing down here at Thomas More. We’re looking to keep the momentum going as we foster strong community connections and dream big for the future of Thomas More University,” Kleier says.
Each of the summer road trip events is free and refreshments are provided. Please visit the Alumni Events page to register. For more information, or to connect with the Thomas More University Alumni Association, please visit https://www.thomasmore.edu/info-for/alumni/ or email [email protected].
