Thomas More Welcomes Dennis Klocke as Controller

CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY (July 17, 2024) – Thomas More University announces the appointment of Dennis P. Klocke, CPA, as controller.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for over 30 years, Klocke’s background includes public accounting roles at both Big Four and regional firms, including nearly 20 years at Fifth Third Bank and a decade at Deloitte, and corporate finance experience. Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Dayton.

“Dennis Klocke brings a wealth of skills and experience and a proven track record for financial leadership. I look forward to the positive impact he will make on the Thomas More community as we continue to enhance the University’s financial position,” Thomas More University President Joseph L. Chillo, LP.D, says.

Klocke will work closely with Execuive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Rick Rollino to provide direction and oversight of the University’s accounting activities, vouch for accounting system integrity, and ensure external compliance. The controller also oversees the University’s annual audit, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of external financial statements and reports, and provides leadership for the Office of the Bursar.

Klocke’s first day will be August 5, 2024.
