Join us for this free literary event on Wednesday, November 13th at 7:00 pm at Joseph Beth Booksellers in Crestview Hills, KY. Signing will follow.
Michael Henson is the author of three books of fiction and three of poetry. His newest work, the novella Tommy Perdue (MotesBooks), is a memorable and revealing morality tale straight out of 21st century America which explores issues of community and addiction in urban life. UC professor Rhonda Pettit’s courses explore the intersections between creative writing, literature, and women’s studies. Her new poetry collection, Fetal Waters (Finishing Line Press, 2013), offers lyrical observation and discussion of race, gender, and war.
Thomas More College’s Writer-in-Residence, Pauletta Hansel, is the author of four poetry collections, the latest of which, The Lives We Live in Houses (Wind Publications, 2011), has been described by former North Carolina poet laureate Cathy Smith Bowers as a “beautifully crafted and deeply felt walk through the many mansions of the human heart.”
Thomas More College’s Fall 2013 Creative Writing Vision Program Visiting Author Series is supported by a grant from the John A. Schroth Family Charitable Trust, PNC Bank, Trustee.
